One Toe and Two Teeth Lighter

Our poor little Bentley dog just got back from the vet. He went in yesterday morning to have his bum toe amputated and his teeth cleaned. At 3:30 yesterday he was still in surgery and the doc called a few hours later to tell us that his bad teeth caused lots of complications. He needed two of his back teeth pulled and now he has stitches in his mouth, as well as in his paw. He’s a mess, all drugged up on pain meds and antibiotics. Our poor little fellow. Last night was painful at home without him and watching him just lay there lifeless is hard. I know everybody is thinking that Bentley lying lifeless is his usual state, but this is different. He’s so out of it. I can’t wait to get my little buddy back–to have him walking normally and running around the yard with Peanut. Get well soon Bentley!
